Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2 November 2026
At Visera Strategies Inc., we want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or voice control. We see accessibility as part of inclusive governance and equitable participation, not a technical box to tick.
The standard we build to
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, a newer and stricter standard than Canadian accessibility laws currently require.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline that the site's own header never covers.
- Text and controls meet AA colour contrast.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, so screen readers can find their way.
- Form errors are tied to the field they belong to and say how to fix them.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Movement is reduced if your device asks for it.
- Pages reflow down to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
How we check
Before launch, each page was tested with automated accessibility checks (axe) and a keyboard pass. At our last check, on 29 October 2026, no page had an automated accessibility error. We test again whenever the site changes significantly.
Known limits
- The cookie banner comes from CookieYes, and the spam check on forms from Cloudflare. Both providers aim for WCAG AA, but we do not control their code. If either gets in your way, email or call us instead.
- LinkedIn and other sites we link to have their own accessibility.
- Older insight articles may include images or documents from other sources. We will provide an accessible version on request.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this site does not work for you, or you need information in another format, contact us: info@viserastrategies.ca or 604-712-9225. Please tell us the page and what happened.
We will reply within two business days and aim to fix the problem, or give you the information another way, within ten business days.
Ongoing
Accessibility is ongoing work. We review this statement at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.
